  POLICY OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

Fagioli Polska has its ethical code in line with the Directive 2006/54/EC of the EU Parliament, considering equal opportunities between men and women a basic principle.
In particular, art. 141 par. 3 of the Treaty provides a specific legal basis for adopting measures to ensure the implementation of equal treatment in matters of employment and occupation, including the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value.

In this respect, it was first thought to break down all barriers including the difficulties for fathers and, above all, the mothers to combine working life with the management of children and house-keeping. In this regard Fagioli Polska adopts a policy of flexible working hours: those who are able to arrive early at the office, the afternoon they can leave earlier than the normal working hours and have time to take care of their children; vice versa in the morning those who need to bring their children to school starting to work later, it can be done without the need to take advantage of holiday and permits simply working longer in the afternoon. With particular regard to women Fagioli provides the “part-time” and "hours counting" process: the employees who have to work overtime can compensate the extra hours done.

These "positive solutions" will enable men and women to cover important roles of equal responsibility getting the same wages.
Another facility introduced by the company will be the possibility to use a company car to take at work the employees who live far away from the office in zones not served by public transportation.
All these actions taken by Fagioli Italy (shareholders of Fagioli Polska) has been approved by Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.

Fagioli Polska is investing in innovation and technology and of course on training the personnel to create specialized operators. Internal preparation (with dedicated “technical classrooms lessons”) and on site training are the path to create qualified personnel also with people at their first experience. Fagioli Spa experienced engineers will follow and instruct “the rookies” giving them the necessary capacity to use unique and peculiar special equipment.

The company, in accordance to EU directive, wants that disabled people will become an active part within Fagioli economic and social lifestyle. Fagioli Polska agrees with the international “Charter of Fundamental Rights” which specifically protect the disabled people, deleting any environmental technical and legal barriers that prevent them to actively participating to any company activity.

We believe that access to employment is a crucial aspect for the integration of people with disabilities. The Investments provided by the European Social Fund, the Community initiative EQUAL and the European employment strategy were done to grant occupation to people with disabilities. We are no more talking about social assistance but new economic incentives connected to job performances.

Fagioli Polska will build its premises considering an easy access to disabled people and will be aware that no obstacles could prevent them to perform their job. Moreover, there are also some equipment (technologically advanced) that are remote controlled and could also be used by disabled people
